Industrial operators facing stricter cleanliness requirements often confront a costly choice: replace an entire cleaning system or accept limited performance. SIWEEP's immersible ultrasonic transducer is designed as a modular alternative, allowing existing cleaning tanks to be upgraded with ultrasonic capability without a full equipment overhaul.
In precision manufacturing and industrial maintenance, cleaning efficiency directly affects production cadence and product quality. Many facilities rely on cleaning tanks that no longer meet increasingly stringent cleanliness standards, while the capital cost of replacing an entire system remains a barrier.
The immersible ultrasonic transducer is a modular industrial component intended for installation inside an existing cleaning tank. Connected to a matched ultrasonic generator, it converts static cleaning fluid into an ultrasonic cleaning system. The approach is designed to deliver industrial-scale precision cleaning without removing the existing tank.
The system's core function is energy conversion. When the generator supplies high-frequency electrical energy to the transducer, the device converts it into high-frequency mechanical vibration. That vibration produces high-intensity ultrasound in the cleaning fluid and triggers cavitation.
During cavitation, numerous microscopic vacuum bubbles form in the liquid and collapse rapidly under pressure, generating localized high-energy shock waves. This microscopic energy release can penetrate blind holes, narrow gaps and complex geometric surfaces, helping remove oil, grease, particles and manufacturing residue while supporting consistency and thoroughness in the cleaning process.
To address different industry requirements for cleaning intensity and precision, SIWEEP offers multiple configuration options intended to match the transducer to the tank design.
| Configuration area | Function |
|---|---|
| Frequency selection | Multiple frequency bands are available to balance cleaning power and part protection according to material and soil type. |
| Power density | Power can be configured according to tank volume and cleaning load to support even distribution of ultrasonic energy. |
| Dimensions | The modular design allows dimensions to be adapted to the available internal space of an existing tank for easier installation. |
Compared with integrated ultrasonic cleaning machines, an immersible ultrasonic transducer plate is positioned as a flexible upgrade path for existing equipment.
